Connor Whiriskey
Biography:
Graduated from NUIGalway in 2001 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. After 2 years working and traveling in North and Central America I decided to pursue the opportunity of studying what I feel is my real passion sound and music. I intend to continue my own compositions in experimental music after the course.
Project Description:
Contemporary Composition highlighting the phenomenon of globalization. here in modern day first world Ireland we enjoy our comforts and seem to have lost the ability to reflect on the cause and effect mechanism of our position in the world. I plan on consuming products of globalization in ways they weren't intended, twisting their uses into an alien compositional output .
